Premium level views greet you from this unique modern villa, as you enter the huge living room through it´s grand entrance. Tucked away in one corner of the seductive South West, it was designed and completed in 2016 by renowned architect Bernard Schalck, and set within a protected natural park with it´s land of 6000 sqm stretching behind into the forest.
The view upon entering is jaw dropping as you look out across the stunning infinity pool, towards the iconic outcrop of rock called Es Vedra, which appears almost within a stonethrow’s distance.
The subject of numerous international architecture magazines, the contemporary design inside, and perfectly symmetrical design, along with a South facing position providing sun all day to the outside pool area of the villa, creates a fantastic and well thought out combination and ‘winner takes all’ feeling for any owner.
The house is divided into two wings, with the huge living area taking centre stage. To the right side is a large open plan room which is currently used by the owners as an office area, but which could easily be converted into a large bedroom with en suite bathroom. To the left is the huge master bedroom wing, with it´’s own lounge area, dressing room and an en-suite Italian style bathroom and hammam, with direct access to the terrace and pool area.
To the rear, is an incredible kitchen, created in tandem with the designer, by it´s French owners, ideal for top level entertaining, together with a further office or guest room and bathroom.
Downstairs on the huge lower ground floor, is an independent self sufficient apartment, storage, utility room, and garage space.
This grounded yet futuristic villa is approached from the quiet street via a gated secure entrance, and from the driveway access to villa is via either stairs or an elevator/lift. And the 60sqm salt water pool with jet stream (and fitted lights for night time swims) sits proudly overlooking the entrance and the tropical plants below.
Two further bedrooms can be easily added downstairs (the design and plans are available on request), although this villa is designed more for those with that reclusive and opulent nature than for young families.

The South West of Ibiza, along with it’s jaw-dropping scenic backgrounds, is glamorous, brash and exclusive, and with more stylish beach club restaurants along it’s shores than possibly the rest of the Balearic islands put together, it is idolised by big-hitting jet setters and local residents alike.
To be experienced at least once is the sassy and shameless Blue Marlin beach club on Cala Jondal (with it’s sister restaurant Yemanja perched daintily on the sand beside, watching with possibly a tinge of jealousy the partying celebrities popping Crystal Jeroboams next door). At the other end of the spectrum is the rapidly changing San Antonio (as the Brits Abroad pubs are slowly replaced by investors snapping up and converting hotels and restaurants left right and beachfront centre). The South West manages to somehow successfully mix this side of it’s personality with the ultra exclusive and uber-cool international residents tucked away in the hills of Es Cubells, and Puig Redo, and hidden behind the security barriers of the gated community Vista Alegre.
The focal point of the South West and an absolute must-see is the mythical and magical volcanic outcrop Es Vedra, so seemingly close that one could almost touch it from the shingled shores of Cala d’Hort. There are many urban myths that surround it, such as it being the third most magnetic place on the planet after the North and South Poles, and there is no better place to contemplate these myths than from a table at Es Boldado, the superb fish restaurant built into the rocks across the bay.
